We hire therapists who share our vision, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and work diligently to restore function while preventing decline in the patients we serve. ✅ About the Facilities Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a Full-Time OTA at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson, TN, has 156 beds that offer short-term rehab, long-term care, and outpatient therapy services. Join a supportive in-house rehab team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes and meaningful collaboration. ️ Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the occupational therapist's treatment plans Assist the Occupational Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures Observe, record, and report conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties Maintain daily treatment records and document progress notes as directed Assist the therapist in consulting with family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Assist with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment Assist with in-service programs and other meetings as assigned Access continuing education opportunities appropriate to the discipline and responsibilities Act in compliance with Ahava Therapy Services' regulatory and professional standards Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences and other facility meetings Adhere to company and facility policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs Perform other duties as assigned Understand reimbursement by various payers and allocate therapy resources efficiently Demonstrate knowledge of OBRA regulations, HIPAA, Local Coverage Determination, and third-party reimbursement guidelines Support the company's mission and vision and project a professional image Independently perform duties and recognize situations where direct supervision is needed Maintain expected productivity levels ✔️ Qualifications Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program Active OTA license or eligibility under state statutes for practice Current BLS/CPR certification Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Benefits (Full-Time) Competitive Pay Daily Pay Option Medical, Dental, Vision Short/Long-Term Disability Ancillary Insurance & FSA PTO + Free Birthday Holiday + Holiday Pay Free Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Free CEUs and Continuing Education Support ✅ Be part of something meaningful.
