Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Fundamentals is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and are looking for a professional who is passionate about helping individuals improve their quality of life. Private Practice Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, physical, and cognitive skills. Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals. Provide direct therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and eating. Educate patients and their families on therapy goals, home programs, and adaptive techniques to promote independence. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians, to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Assess and make recommendations for environmental adaptations or adaptive equipment to enhance functional independence. Experience with a Spanish-speaking patient population is preferred but not required, as we serve a diverse community. Qualifications For COTA, have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). For OT, Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid Tennessee state license in Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Strong knowledge of human anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and assessment tools.
