Duties Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities, including assessments related to ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and mobility. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting physical, cognitive, and sensory goals. Assist patients with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and other daily tasks to promote independence. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure seamless discharge planning. Work with individuals across various populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, early intervention cases, and those with autism or disabilities. Provide therapy sessions in assisted living facilities including Independent living, asssited living, and memory care. Support case management efforts by documenting progress, adjusting treatment strategies, and ensuring compliance with medical terminology and physiology principles. Requirements Valid occupational therapy license or certification in the relevant state or region. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and patient care best practices. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities across diverse age groups including geriatrics and pediatrics. Strong case management skills with experience developing care plans and discharge strategies. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and families.
