Job Description

Dreamcatchers Therapy is looking for an caring, dependable, enthusiastic, and thoughtful part-time or full-time permanent Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.
Dreamcatchers Therapists:
We are an independent Occupational Therapy and Nutrition and Wellness Service. We services pediatric and adult clients in all facets. We specialize in school based settings, home visits, mental health, and daily organizational skills. You consistently work full time. You will be with us for the long term and may assist with administrative tasks in the future. You are open to new treatment approaches and to growing your treatment skill set to provide the best up-to- date treatment for patients, and you love that you are always learning. You communicate solutions, ideas, suggestions, needs, and concerns readily. You know how to be both assertive and gracious to everyone you work with from the boss to the janitor, and own up to errors should they arise. Even though it's hard, you get your documentation done in a timely manner. You will feel like you are benefiting as much from this job as our patients and business do from you. You are responsible for making your needs known and working with us to make this your dream job. We do Gross Motor and Coordination Skills Development, Myofascial Release, Fine Motor/Visual Motor Development, Oral Motor/Oral Sensory Development, Visual Perception/Visual Processing, Hand writing, Home Modifications, and work on Play Skills. Qualifications and Skills Certified Occupational Therapist in the state of Louisiana ( +Texas a plus). Benefits For individuals working more than 32 hours per week, benefits include: Medical and dental), continuing education allotment based on approval.
