Fort Worth, Roanoke, Flower Mound, Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Bedford, Colleyville, Haslett, North Richland Hills, Keller, Southlake, Azle, Rhome, Burleson Position Summary The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) provides skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Home Health settings. The OTA supports patient progress by implementing treatment plans designed to improve independence, safety, and functional performance. Key Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional mobility Observe and report patient responses, progress, and changes in condition to the supervising OT Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety techniques, and use of adaptive equipment Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAA Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific) Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome to apply) Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Why Join Us Flexible part-time schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative care model Opportunity to work across multiple care settings Meaningful work making a direct impact on patient outcomes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the heart of Pivot.
