Overview COTA or OTR •Port Arthur, Tx •Orange, Tx COTA per visit rate$40.00 and OTR$100.00 eval/ $50.00 visi We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including inpatient facilities and home health environments. Your expertise in occupational health and patient care will be essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall quality of life. 212• Therapy is a Pediatric Home Care Company located in Beaumont Tx servicing the Golden Triangle and East Texas area. We offer Speech, Occupational Therapy for children 0-18 years of age. A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) administers occupational therapy to children on a weekly basis in their home. This is performed in accordance with physicians orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This is a perfect position for someone who is looking to broaden their scope of practice working with children or looking for flexibility. therapists are free to choose their service area. New grads or therapists with pediatric interest are welcome to apply. Shadowing and mentoring opportunities are available. Must have a current Tx COTA license and

per visit rate $40.00 OTR $100.00 eval/ $50.00 visit Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients with various conditions, including acute care and geriatrics. Provide direct patient care by guiding individuals through therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance daily living skills. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and any relevant medical terminology. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for improving functional abilities. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Experience Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program is required. Previous experience in occupational health or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge is beneficial. Experience working in inpatient settings or home health care is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
