Remedy Speech Therapy | Old Town Alexandria, VA Part-Time | 4-6 Hours Per Week $30-36/hour Do you love working with children and want to be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values creativity, connection, and clinical excellence? At Remedy Speech Therapy, we are expanding our Occupational Therapy services and are looking for a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA seeking a small number of consistent weekly hours in a warm, family-centered pediatric clinic. Must hold a current Virginia Occupational Therapy Assistant license and maintain NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). About Remedy Remedy Speech Therapy is a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, myofunctional therapy, tutoring, groups, camps, and family education programs. Our mission is to help children thrive while creating a positive experience for both families and clinicians. Position Details Part-time position 4-6 hours per week to start $30-35 per hour, based on experience Primarily after-school hours preferred Opportunity for additional hours as our OT caseload continues to grow Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OT Provide engaging, child-centered therapy sessions Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently Collaborate with the supervising OT and clinic team Communicate professionally with families regarding home carryover recommendations Maintain a positive, organized treatment environment Qualifications Current COTA license in Virginia Pediatric experience preferred Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful goals What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive, team-oriented culture Beautiful clinic space in walkable Old Town Alexandria Opportunity to grow with an expanding OT program Access to therapy materials and resources Ideal Candidate You are energetic, compassionate, and enjoy making therapy fun.
