Local:
$1,967/35 hrs Requirements Current, active state license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Key Responsibilities Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations. Collaborate on development of individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and daily living independence. Instruct patients in safe and effective use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment. Document patient care accurately and timely, recording progress, treatments, and changes in condition. Provide patient and family education and training for home exercise programs and ongoing recovery. Communicate regularly with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. Follow safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe therapy environment. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients working toward therapeutic goals. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
