Job Description

Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation in Aberdeen is now hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to come and join our team! $35.00 - $40.00 /hr The successful candidate will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. The goal is to help patients achieve their maximum level of independence and improve their quality of life.
Full-time are eligible for:

Minimum pay - $35.00. Maximum pay - $40.00 •Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.•Responsibilities Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions Develop and implement treatment plans based on residents' needs and goals Assist residents with exercises and activities to improve their strength, mobility, and coordination Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to perform daily activities Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Document residents' progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents and their families Qualifications Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program State licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience working in a skilled nursing facility Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Avalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
