Required:

Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license Core responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations. Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living. Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment. Document treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely. Train patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge plans. Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. Follow safety and infection-control protocols. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
