Job Description

Overview Responsibilities Provides medical and administrative assistance to Ophthalmologist/Physicians in a clinical setting. Performs ophthalmic duties and exams. Trains technicians and assists in the coordination of daily operations to ensure an efficient patient flow. Performs testing as requested by the physician.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
2 of the most recent 4 years' experience as an
Ophthalmic Tech Licensure/Registration/Certification:
One of the following: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT) by the American Optometric Association's Commission on Paraoptometric Certification (CPC)
