Optometric Technician/Medical Assistant

Hi! We are looking for a caring, friendly and efficient person to join our eye care team. We are a small private practice looking for someone with a positive attitude to pretest patients. Duties include working up patients (prior to them seeing the doctor) and putting them in a room, as well as some extra testing. We will hire part time or full time for the right person. Anywhere from 3 to 5 days per week. We never work Saturdays or Sundays and have paid holidays. We can train the right person, even with no experience (although any experience in the optical, optometry, or ophthalmology field will be compensated appropriately). This job is ideal for someone who likes to stay busy and enjoys interacting with people. We have found in the past that medical assistants do well in this position, as well as anyone who has worked in service (retail or restaurants). Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions.
