Optometric Technician works under the supervision of an optometrist. They perform a variety of duties including patient pretesting such as visual acuity, pressure inside the eye and blood pressure; contact lens patient education; and front office management.

FULL TIME AVAILABILITY

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 10AM to 6PM; Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Sunday 11:00AM to 3:00pm Chief duties Checking patient's entering prescription with a lensometer Diagnostic testing including auto-refractor, NCT, Optomap retinal imaging Assist Optometrist during exam Maintaining contact lens inventory, and contact lens training Analyze and interpret prescriptions Communicate effectively with patient/customer Assist in various business duties, including supply and equipment maintenance, and record keeping Assist in scheduling patient's appointment and billing Scanning insurance and check-in paperworks Complementary Eye Exam after 6 months
