We're seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Optometric/Medical Technician to join our fast-paced, patient-focused practice. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a team environment, and want opportunities for growth, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for their eye examinations. Obtain patient medical history and document information accurately. Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, autorefractor, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging (Optos/Optomap), Oculus Dry Eye Imaging, and other diagnostic testing. Assist the doctor during patient examinations and procedures. Educate patients on treatment plans, eye care products, contact lenses, and eye health. Maintain accurate patient records. Help ensure efficient patient flow throughout the office. Assist with contact lens training and follow-up visits as needed. Check-out patients. Prepare exam lanes and assist doctor with dry eye procedures. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience as an Optometric Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, or Medical Assistant preferred. Experience working in an optometry or ophthalmology office is highly preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) or medical software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
