This full-time permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care. The entry level Ophthalmic Technician will perform the following duties. Previous medical experience is not required but exceptional customer service skills are a must! Training will be provided.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Take patient history Use Autorefractor, Magellan, Galilei, and Pachymetry Set up and refill supplies in the exam rooms Organize the exam rooms and diagnostic room throughout the clinic day perform temporary tear plug for patient Preparing patient for surgery Perform exams and image test for Cataract Patients Using Optos to take image of back of the eyes Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Attention to detail Fluent in English Bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin Willingness to learn and follow lead Quick learner Friendly and outgoing Good communication skills Dependability / punctuality Availability on some Saturdays Based in Daly City . Willing to travel to our Santa Clara and San Ramon offices.
