Job Description

We are a busy, growing private optometry practice in Merced specializing in developmental vision care, vision therapy, and comprehensive eye health. We are seeking a dedicated full-time team member to join our close-knit staff of 3 doctors. Position Overview This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in patient care. Responsibilities include patient intake, pre-testing (autorefractor, lensometry, visual fields, etc.), assisting with exams, optical dispensing support, scribing, and maintaining a smooth clinic flow. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Requirements Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred (strong verbal communication skills). Medical Assistant or Optometric Technician experience preferred, but new graduates and career changers are strongly encouraged to apply — we value potential and a great attitude over prior experience. Extremely hard-working, diligent, self-motivated, and reliable. Passionate about learning and growing with the practice. Positive team player with excellent patient service skills. High school diploma or equivalent required; MA/COA certification a plus. What We Offer Full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, no weekends). Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
