Job Description Looking for a permanent optometric technician / medical assistant to provide quality patient care and customer service in a busy private optometry practice. We are seeking someone interested in building a long-term career within our practice. This is not a temporary or transitional role. Our office is known for delivering excellent care in a comfortable, friendly, and organized environment. Major Responsibilities Perform preliminary testing prior to the doctor exam Operate multiple diagnostic instruments to collect patient data Accurately document medical history and testing results in electronic health records Minor Responsibilities Patient check-in and check-out Answer phones and schedule appointments Contact lens training (training provided) Ordering and stocking contact lenses Basic Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment Attention to detail and ability to multitask Basic computer skills for EHR documentation High school diploma or GED required
