Ophthalmic Technician

Our organization is looking for an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of ophthalmic tests and procedures, such as visual acuity tests, refraction tests, and tonometry. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of ophthalmology and be able to accurately assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist ophthalmologists in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Perform visual acuity tests, refraction tests, and other eye exams. Perform diagnostic tests such as tonometry and pachymetry. Document patient information in electronic medical records. Educate patients on proper eye care and safety measures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ophthalmology clinic.
