Optometric Technician - Join Our Team! We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Technician to support our optometrist and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for every patient. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is eager to grow within the healthcare field. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in/out patients professionally and efficiently Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries Perform pre-screening tests and diagnostic procedures prior to the doctor's exam Assist the optometrist during exams, including scribing and EHR documentation Conduct vision tests and contact lens fittings/dispensing Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment Monitor and maintain inventory levels Uphold a clean, organized, and professional environment in the office and pre-test areas Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous medical or optometry office experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong multitasking and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Professional, patient-focused demeanor What We're Looking For A proactive, dependable team player Comfortable working with electronic health records (EHR) A problem-solver who can adapt quickly to patient needs Passionate about providing exceptional patient care If you're enthusiastic about eye care and want to be part of a supportive and dynamic team, we'd love to meet you! to join our practice.
