Job Description

Company Overview Associated Comprehensive Eyecare is a well-established ophthalmology practice with over 35 years of experience in providing high-quality eye care. Our commitment to patient satisfaction and growth has led us to expand our team, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional service in North Central Florida. Summary We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our friendly and professional team. This full-time position is essential for supporting our ophthalmologists and ensuring the highest level of patient care in our practice. Salary is based on experience. Responsibilities Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures. Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and refraction. Document patient history and maintain accurate medical records. Educate patients with pre-operative and post-operative care. Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Requirements Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will train. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to ophthalmology is a plus. Ability to perform vital signs of assessments accurately. Familiarity with medical coding practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
