Hillmoor Optometric PLLC Hillmoor Optometric is seeking a friendly, experienced, outgoing, and personable individual to join our team as an
Optometric Assistant Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Utilize pretest and diagnostic equipment efficiently and accurately (VF, CL Lens, Pachymetry, OCT, Fundus camera, etc).. Assist the Doctor with patient flow during examinations. Scribe for the Doctor, ensuring comprehensive and precise documentation. Answer phones, greet patients. Schedule appointments and manage patient records using computer systems. Engage with patients for insurance verification, referrals, and payment collection. Front desk admin duties.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Optometric/Ophthalmic Tech preferred. Proficiency in using pretest equipment and computer systems. Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions. Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Communicate with other medical offices to coordinate referrals. Contact lens experience preferred.
