The ideal candidate has previous technician experience and is available to work full time hours M-F.

Duties:

• Perform and document medical history review through NextGen EHR system
• Prepare patients for all treatments
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic testing
• Perform a variety of testing such as ultrasounds, fundus photos, OCTs, corneal topography, biometry, visual field, ultrasound, refraction, pressures
• Answer patient phone calls
• Assist physician in the patient flow
• Assist with patient prescriptions
• Clean and Sterilize instruments
• Order medical supplies
• Help with clerical front office duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician; certification a plus!
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and attitude
