Ophthalmic Technician

Ophthalmic Technician Exciting opportunity to join our patient centered ophthalmology practice; looking for an upbeat, energetic, self starter to assist physicians with patient exams! Ophthalmic Technician Requirements:

Must have 2 year+ experience with EHR Clinical ophthalmic or optometric experience a plus Manual refraction skills a plus COA Required Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities:

Will gather detailed medical history and patient information, perform diagnostic testing and assist physicians. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

• follow proper cleaning procedures and stocking exam rooms.

Additional administrative duties such as:

assisting patients in completion of appropriate forms, answering phone calls/checking messages, maintaining clinical workflow, scanning documents and scheduling appointments. Communication with pharmacies via phone and E-scribe. Strong organizational skills Manage employee and physician schedules Handle the disgruntled patient when needed Ensure the clinic stays on task and schedule Work hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (8:00 AM
