Bilingual Optometric Technician

Join Our Dynamic Eye Care Team as a Bilingual Optometric Technician! (English/Spanish) Are you passionate about patient care and fluent in both English and Spanish? Atlanta Eye Group is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Bilingual Optometric Technician to join our team! This is a key role at our offices, where you'll support a large Spanish-speaking patient base, assist during exams, and help deliver outstanding care to every patient.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, capable of assisting with clinical pre-testing and procedures, and translating during eye exams when needed. We're looking for someone who is professional, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. Availability to work weekends as needed is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist optometrists in providing high-quality, comprehensive eye care. Perform patient pre-testing and diagnostic assessments. Operate and maintain optometric instruments and equipment. Translate during patient exams to ensure clear communication between the doctor and Spanish-speaking patients. Deliver outstanding service to all patients, supporting a welcoming and efficient clinical environment. Travel between our Cumberland Office and Kennesaw Office locations as needed.

Qualifications:

Fluency in English and Spanish (required) - You'll be the key point of contact for our Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring their experience is smooth and comfortable. A passion for helping others and building relationships. A keen interest in healthcare, particularly eye care. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the optometry field is a plus, but not required—we're excited to train the right person! Availability to work weekends is required.
