Responsibilities:
- Calling in orders to our partner labs
- Measuring and marking up lenses
- Using the lab machinery to properly cut/edge lenses
- Keeping the lab area clean and clutter free
- Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting eyewear
- Contacting patients when their order is ready
- Tracking all jobs from order to completion
- Proactively identifying and resolving order delays
Qualifications:
- Proficient in typing and computer knowledge
- Experience with using a lensometer to read and mark lenses (REQUIRED)
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage orders independently
- Self motivated with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
- Proactive and eager to learn
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- ABO certification not required but must have previous optometry experience
