Responsibilities and Duties Ophthalmic technicians perform patient work-ups including refracting. Conduct vision screening tests (OCT, visual fields, etc.) Ophthalmic technicians scribe and assist the ophthalmologists with other duties as needed Qualifications and Skills High school diploma Completion of an ophthalmic technician training course or equivalent on the job training Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong computer proficiency Two or more years of technical experience and COA preferred Bilingual candidates will be given top consideration
