Your responsibilities will include:
Performing comprehensive patient workups (medical history, visual acuity, intraocular pressure, etc.) Accurately scribing for physicians and maintaining detailed documentation in EMR systems Conducting diagnostic testing, including OCT, visual fields, lensometry, and angiography Assisting with retina-specific procedures such as intravitreal injections, lasers, and minor in-office procedures Supporting physicians and clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow and high-quality service
Requirements:
What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Strong computer skills and comfort working in EMR systems Previous ophthalmology or healthcare experience preferred, but not required COA or COT certification preferred (we will consider motivated candidates seeking certification) Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Compassionate, patient-centered mindset with strong communication skills Benefits That Support You We want our team members to thrive both professionally and personally.
