Job Description
One of the most rewarding positions in our office has become available and we are looking to fill this position with the perfect candidate! As a optometric technician, you will be working along side our doctors to provide comprehensive care and a very patient focused experience for our clients. You will be working as a member of our tech team with 3-4 other technicians. Positive team dynamics are a focus at our office. We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, energetic, positive, kind, and pays attention to detail. Accuracy in collecting information is very important as is being able to perform a systematic routine without error with EVERY patient.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting information from patients that our doctors will need to complete their eye exams and office visits Using medical instruments to collect patient data Maintaining electronic medical records. Recording information in medical record during the exam as dictated by doctor Communicating patients' concerns with the doctors Scheduling appointments Teaching patients how to use and care for contact lenses Helping to maintain contact lens trial room and processing patient contact orders This is aFULL TIME
position- 38-40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday (and Saturday mornings on a rotating schedule)
- 90 day trial period before PTO and benefits become available We are a privately owned optometry office located in Overland Park, KS.
