Job Description

VisionFirst is a local, employee-owned eye care provider with 18 locations in Kentucky and Indiana. We are more than just an eye care provider; we are part of the community. And we're looking for someone great to join the team. What You'll Do You'll be a key part of our patient experience — greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike.
Some key job duties include:
Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism Keep patient records accurate and up to date Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow What We're Looking For Friendly, people-first personality Detail-oriented and organized under pressure Team player who is dependable and takes ownership Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person Why VisionFirst Is Different We are locally operated, but also employee-owned.
