Job Description

Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician Please Note:
This is a part-time position only . The schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM . No full-time hours are available. Our busy and growing retina practice is seeking a motivated Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. Prior ophthalmic or medical experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working directly with patients.
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Obtain patient histories and accurately document information in the electronic health record (EHR) Perform preliminary ophthalmic testing, including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and diagnostic imaging Assist physicians during clinic visits and procedures Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms Deliver compassionate, professional patient care
Qualifications:
Ophthalmic or medical experience preferred (training available for the right candidate) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and learn quickly Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Dependable, punctual, and professional
Schedule:
