THE EYE CLINIC
At The Eye Clinic, we offer full time work schedules and a competitive compensation package including benefits. We are looking for energetic men and women who are interested in a career of becoming an Ophthalmic Technician with one of the largest Ophthalmic/Optometry and Optical companies in Southwest Louisiana. Our 6 locations are: Imperial Blvd Lake Charles, 1st Ave. Lake Charles, Sulphur, Moss Bluff, Deridder, and Jennings. Come apply. We would like to see you.
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for getting patients ready to see the physician. This includes numerous tasks and a lot of teamwork. Must be dependable and have dependable transportation to travel to any of our locations.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Getting patient ready to see the physician. Doing testing required for particular visits. Communicating with technicians as well as physicians. Scribing for physicians.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Degree or equivalent Basic computer skills Independent and self-motivated Enthusiastic and concise communications Attention to detail Some traveling when needed Must be available to work some Saturdays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(but not required at time of application) Experience preferred but not required.
