Optometric Technician Cambridge Eye Group Cambridge, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Teamwork Customer relationship building Customer service In-person customer service Employee relationship building Administrative experience Attention to detail Problem-solving Team motivation (leadership skill) Full Job Description Optometric Technician We are currently looking for a self-motivated and team-oriented person with strong leadership skills to assist our doctors and perform some administrative tasks in our office. Someone who has the ability to multitask effectively, work under pressure, and stay organized.
A typical day includes:
Assisting doctors to perform diagnostic testing Assisting in administrative tasks Handling patient service issues Building office morale to support company culture Performing other duties as required to support the office
Must Have:
A welcoming smile and positive attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example The desire and ability to connect with patients Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical practice administration is preferred, but not required Demonstrated ability to identify problems within an office and to develop feasible solutions. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. We offer full benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits.
Compensation:
Competitive salary. Compensation is dependent on experience. Training will be provided to those with limited experience and anyone interested is encouraged to apply !
