Ophthalmic Technician - NorfolkNorwood Locations Eye Care Specialists is seeking a dependable and motivated Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology and optometry practice. This position will work at both our Norfolk and Norwood locations. Prior ophthalmic experience is welcomed, but we are happy to provide training to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Obtain and document patients' medical and ocular histories Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, lensometry, tonometry, and diagnostic imaging Prepare patients and exam rooms for providers Accurately document information in the electronic medical record Clean and maintain exam rooms and ophthalmic equipment Help maintain an efficient and positive patient flow

Qualifications:

Previous ophthalmic or optometric technician experience is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Comfortable learning and operating ophthalmic equipment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records is a plus Benefits for
