Job Description
Job Summary Eye Doctors of Cape Cod is looking for skilled Ophthalmic Technicians to join our growing practice and be a part of our amazing team. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by performing basic tests such as history taking, Refractions, Applanation, OCT and OPTOS imaging and visual field testing. Assist practitioners during exams and procedures. Maintain accurate medical records, ensure proper documentation of clinical notes, and support clinic operations. Prior experience in medical office settings or ophthalmology clinics is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to the eye, and medical terminology relevant to ophthalmology. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Demonstrates proficiency in refractometry, applanation tonometry and other ophthalmic tests. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits Medical & Dental Insurance 401K plan
