Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist / Optical Assistant Barenburg Eye Associates is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable team member to join our growing eye care practice. This position combines front desk responsibilities with optical support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify patient information and process paperwork Assist patients with frame selection and eyewear purchases Help with optical dispensing, adjustments, and repairs (training provided) Coordinate with doctors and staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience Maintain a clean, organized reception and optical area
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Comfortable using computers and learning new software Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Previous eye care and optical experience preferred
