Full Time. Days. Full Benefits. Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Ophthalmic Technician. We're looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of service to both our patients and employees.
REQUIREMENTS
High School education or equivalent. CMA, RMA, COA, COT, or another equivalent professional certification is preferred. BLS certification required; Must obtain within 6 months of hire. Great attitude and engages patients with a smile.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible to obtain patient's chief complaint, present illness, and medical history as well as vision acuity and refractions. Performs various ophthalmic diagnostic tests as required by the physician including visual fields, OCT, Pentacam, IOL Master, iTrace, Optos fundus, and angiography.
