We are located at 1905 Abbot Road. Our ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. Workdays are Monday-Friday, no weekends! We are looking for a full-time person for this position who wants to grow with our company. Thank you! Benefits Lab coat provided, 6 paid Holidays/year, will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and a yearly pair of prescription glasses/or year supply of contact lenses Employer provided healthcare is not an option at this time. Responsibilities and Tasks . Help with the daily patient check-in process. Help with daily patient insurance eligibility research. Help verify appointments set online by patients.

Primary role:

Explain testing procedures and collect information using automated equipment; including an auto-refractor/keratometer, auto-tonometer, retinal camera, visual field machine, and an optical coherence tomographer. Explain additional testing that is available. Transfer data and add notes in patients' charts using proper grammar. Help direct patients to the exam rooms or back to the waiting room. Assist with end-of-day deposit report. Help scan patient charts into a database, when needed. Help keep the waiting room and eyewear dispensary area tidy.

Customer service; works well with the public. Strong attention to detail. Forward thinker; can anticipate the needs of staff, doctors and patient care. Strong in multi-tasking with ease. Strong comprehension, math and problem-solving skills. Accurate data entry. Ability to convert verbal or written information into numerical data. Team player, must work well with others in an office environment. Reliable transportation.
