The World's Greatest Eye Clinic needs Extraordinary Talent to fill an Optometric Technician/Office Assistant position. This position will be assisting in most areas of the office. The typical week could include anywhere between 1 and 3 days per week and flexible enough to fill additional days to cover for other employees that need a personal day or take planned vacation time. The various facets will include the following:
  • Assisting the doctor in gathering data with various computerized instruments.
  • Getting patient care started in the examination room.
  • Making appointments.
  • Answering phone calls.
  • Assisting with patient care in the optical area; Helping to select fashionable eye wear and make minor repairs.
  • Preparing monthly statements to patients and performing month end reports, and miscellaneous filing and paperwork.
