Bilingual (Spanish) Optometry Technician/Receptionist Parker Family Eye Care Job Category Administrative/Clerical Overview Description At Parker Family Eye Care we welcome patients of all ages to our comfortable optometry office. Dr. Parker provides personalized optical and medical eye care services to satisfy your family's needs at any age, from pediatrics to geriatrics. In our friendly clinic, we become familiar with each individual patient in order to customize eye exams and treatment options. We are looking to fill an opening for an Bilingual (preferred) individual that will work as a technician. The successful candidate will be a positive, smiling and pleasant multi-tasker.

Main duties to start include:

Greeting Patients, Answering Phones, Scheduling appointments Preparing patients charts, pulling insurance, verifying insurance companies Handling all patients needs with exceptional customer service Handling phone orders/taking payment Maintaining patient flow Assisting with and training in our optical Performing testing on patients to prepare them for the doctor Strong telephone, interpersonal and communication skills needed; optical experience helpful but not required, will train the right individual. Medical experience is a plus! There will be opportunity for growth within the company and the ability to cross-train into other areas of the practice if desired.
