Job Description

Atlantic Vision Center is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Optometric Technician to join our team. As an Optometric Technician, you will be responsible for performing preliminary eye exams and preparing patients for their visit with the optometrist. You will also be responsible for assisting with the fitting of contact lenses, prepping patients for diagnostic tests, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities:
Conduct preliminary eye exams Assist with fitting and dispensing contact lenses and eyeglasses Prepare patients for diagnostic tests Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records Provide excellent customer service to our patients
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work well in a team environment Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about eye care and has a positive and upbeat personality. Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
