$18•21 per hour (based on experience and performance) About Us Lumos Eyecare is a modern, patient-focused optometry practice committed to providing exceptional eye care through advanced technology, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. We are looking for a mature, dependable, and motivated Optometric Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and care Complete patient intake, medical history, and required forms Perform pre-testing to prepare patients for their eye exams Assist the doctor with specialty testing and treatment procedures Chart the doctor's findings accurately in real time using an iPad/EHR Educate patients on treatment options and their benefits Provide excellent customer service throughout the patient visit Support a variety of day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks Help promote services and contribute to practice growth Work collaboratively with the team to keep patient flow efficient Qualifications Previous experience as an Optometric Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, Medical Assistant, or in a healthcare setting is preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Sales experience or confidence in sales conversations is a plus Comfortable speaking with patients and presenting information Positive attitude, flexible, and willing to learn Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment We're Looking For Someone Who Is Mature and professional Calm, focused, and organized Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of patients and the doctor Comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities Committed to providing an exceptional patient experience Why Join Us?
