Private optometry office is seeking a friendly and reliable Ophthalmic Technician. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and support to our doctors.
Responsibilities Include:
Pre-testing patients prior to the eye exam Obtaining patient history and chief complaints Performing diagnostic testing including OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging, etc. Assisting doctors with patient flow and clinical support Educating patients on treatments, contact lenses, and products Maintaining clean and organized exam/testing areas
Ideal Candidate:
Prior ophthalmic or optometric technician experience preferred Friendly, professional, and dependable Strong communication and multitasking skills Detail-oriented with positive attitude Experience with EHR systems is a plus
