Southwest What You'll Do:
Prioritize eye-related emergencies by assessing patient symptoms to clarify the responsibilities and expectations Initiate and manage prior authorizations, advocating for patients & supporting physician- designed treatment plans to preserve vision Identify prescription refill needs and collaborate closely with physicians to manage clinical patient care Ensure accurate and efficient documentation in the EMR while effectively coordinating patient care Apply quick & critical thinking in evaluating symptoms, medical history, and patient circumstances in real time What We re
Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required COA certification required within 90 days of hire (Tech Triage I) Experience in ophthalmic subspecialties and scribing preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills Must complete required LMS training annually
