- The Ophthalmic Technician is a certified individual (COT) in this field who assists the Ophthalmologist/ Optician and other technical support personnel to perform diagnostics tests necessary for evaluation of patient eye problem.

- + High school diploma/GED, with appropriate training in this field + 1+ year minimum preferred as an Ophthalmic Tech/Medical Office Assistant or equivalent +
