Requirements Proven experience as an ophthalmic technician or in a similar medical office setting specializing in ophthalmology. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms. Experience administering diagnostic imaging (OCT, Visual field, fundus photography) good multitasking skills. Patient history taking, refraction is a plus. Minimum 1 year experience COA - certified ophthalmic assistant Responsibilities Perform preliminary eye examinations, including visual acuity testing, intraocular pressure measurement, and slit-lamp assessments. Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and minor procedures by preparing equipment and ensuring patient comfort. Conduct diagnostic tests such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual field testing, and refraction assessments. Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) accurately, ensuring all patient data is complete, confidential, and compliant with HIPAA regulations. CA02

$1,110.00 per week
