Optometric Assistant

About us Dr. Cindy Elrich has an Optometric office in Chillicothe, OH. We are conveniently located at 4 Medical Drive. We do comprehensive eye examinations on our patients. We carry many styles of designer frames. We fit soft and gas permeable contacts including bifocal contacts. In addition we treat eye infections. We strive to take care of our patients with modern technology and in a professional manner. Optometric office seeking an employee for our practice in Chillicothe, Ohio. Optometric experience would be great, but is not a requirement. Office experience is necessary. Medical experience and interest in learning is important for this position. Candidate needs to be proficient at computer and have good math and logic skills. Responsibilities include obtaining insurance authorizations and billing insurance, scheduling patients, diagnostic testing and assisting patients with frame selection and pricing. You will be working independently and as a team. You will be expected to learn the job quickly and accurately. Medical billing will be part of the job.
