Cleveland, OH 44121 Retina Center of Ohio is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Part-Time Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinical team. This is a year-round position and is not a summer-only opportunity . Applicants must have at least one year of ophthalmology experience . About Retina Center of Ohio Retina Center of Ohio was founded by Suber S. Huang, MD, MBA, Founder and CEO. Dr. Huang is an internationally recognized retina specialist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical retinal diseases. His areas of expertise include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, complications of eye surgery, retinal vein occlusion, macular pucker, macular hole, retinopathy of prematurity, ocular trauma, genetic syndromes, and ocular inflammation. Dr. Huang provides new-patient visits, emergency evaluations, consultations, retinal surgery, and second-opinion evaluations, and he is an expert in clinical trials. Clinical Responsibilities Room patients and prepare them for examination Obtain and document patient histories Perform visual acuity testing and vision screenings Conduct OCT and RNFL imaging Perform refractions Assist the physician with intravitreal injections and other clinical procedures Help ensure an efficient, professional, and welcoming patient-care experience Administrative Responsibilities Scan notes and documents into patient charts Assist with medication inventory Return patient calls as directed Process prescription refill requests and call in refills for patients Provide additional clinical and administrative support as needed Qualifications At least one year of ophthalmology experience required Prior experience in a retina or ophthalmology practice strongly preferred Experience with

OCT, RNFL

imaging, refractions, and retinal patient care preferred Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills Ability to commute reliably to Cleveland, OH 44121 Must be available to work in person Benefits Paid time off
