Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic eye care team as an Optometric Technician/Optician, where your enthusiasm and expertise will help deliver exceptional vision care experiences. In this vital role, you will assist with patient examinations, prepare patients for their eye exams, and provide personalized optical solutions. Responsibilities Prepare patients for eye examinations by performing preliminary tests such as measuring vital signs and collecting medical history. Assist optometrists during eye exams by managing equipment and documenting findings accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Conduct Optical tasks including lens measurements, frame adjustments, and verifying optical prescriptions using laboratory experience and anatomy knowledge. Educate patients on eyewear options, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses. Experience Prior experience is highly preferred., however we are willing and able to train the right candidate.
