Job Summary:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you provide technical support to the Ophthalmologist/Optometrist. You will perform specific testing/exams and administer eye drops before the patient sees the provider. In this role, you will review patient charts before exams to anticipate testing, procedures and instruments, supplies or equipment as needed. You will provide patients both verbal and written instructions regarding medications and treatment and answer questions and follow up when necessary.
