Our team of highly skilled physicians and optometrists specializes in a broad range of ophthalmic disciplines across multiple locations, emphasizing patient-centered care and cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities Facilitate the timely flow of patients through the office. Efficiently and accurately conduct all diagnostic testing. Document testing in the electronic medical record.
Proficient performance of the following:
Visual Field Testing (Automated Perimetry) Pachymetry OCT Corneal Hysteresis Corneal Topography Pentacam Cell Count Slit Lamp Photography A/B Scan Biometry OPD Fundus Photography Requirements Prior experience in ophthalmology or a related medical field with proficiency in optical testing and diagnostic procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to eye health and ophthalmic diagnostics. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and data management. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse populations, including pediatrics. Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and confidentiality protocols within a healthcare setting. Experience with medical billing, coding, or retail sales is advantageous but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail. Successful completion of JCAHPO ophthalmic certification a plus.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
